OnePlus and Hasselblad are partnering to render its all-new 9 Series an upgraded camera that will give surreal images, fine forms, natural tones and vibrancy. Hasselblad is a Swedish manufacturer of medium format cameras, photographic equipment and image scanners (The Company originally became known for its classic analog medium format cameras that used a waist level viewfinder). These two major brands are committed to develop better mobile camera systems. The OnePlus 9 series will feature a Natural Color Calibration system developed by legendary camera maker. The Pro Mode on the phones will feature Hasselblad-developed image processing and will be able to output 12-bit RAW images.
The hardware made by Sony for both OnePlus 9 phones will use a 48 MP Sony IMX789 image sensor for the main camera with Digital Overlap HDR and full-pixel omnidirectional autofocus. It will have the ability to record 4K videos at 120 fps. The camera gets the 50MP IMX766 module, which is behind both the wide and ultra wide lenses on the Oppo Find X3 Pro.
OnePlus 9 will come along with a 6.55-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display, while OnePlus 9 Pro would have a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED QHD+ (1,440×3,216 pixels) display and up to 120Hz of dynamic screen refresh rate. The new One Plus 9 has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. On the other hand, the OnePlus 9 Pro has all three sensors along with an additional 8-megapixel sensor. These phones will also have a 16-megapixel selfie camera at the front. Both these will be powered by Qualcosemm Snapdragon 888.
Wireless fast charging
Crowning stroke from the company is that OnePlus 9 series phones will come with its Warp Charge 50 Wireless and Warp Charge 65T fast charging. It can fill the battery from zero to 100% in just 29 minutes. The company will also launch a 50W wireless charger that can finish the same task in 43 minutes.
Both these OnePlus 9 phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with LPDDR5 RAM. The Pro model will also feature the new OnePlus Cool Play technology, which will keep the phone running a couple of degrees cooler than other mobiles.
Misty colours and an impressive processor
Winter Mist (violet) and Morning Mist (silver) are the two colours for the vanilla OnePlus 9 and the 9 Pro, respectively.
The company promises a 2 years of warranty for the OnePlus 9. The device has Android v10(Q) as its operating system and a massive 8GB RAM and impressive processor setup.
OnePlus 9 comes with an AMOLED type 6.55 inch display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. It has a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels accompanied by a pixel density of 402ppi. A bezel-less punch-hole display protected by a sturdy Corning Gorilla Glass is another feather in its cap.
Its camera features include Exposure compensation, HDR mode, Auto Flash, Continuous shooting and much more.
Storage and Connectivity
OnePlus 9 has a notable 128GB non-expandable storage space. The device supports 5G VoLTE connection besides other connectivity traits like Wi-Fi, Mobile Hotspot, v5.0 Bluetooth, NFC, A-GPS, USB Type-C.
